Impregnating sealer with a ‘natural finish’
NCC Stone Sealer is an impregnating sealer with a ‘natural finish’ that was specifically developed in conjunction with NCC, as the ideal solution for protecting the natural surface and preventing staining on many different types and finishes of permeable natural and reconstituted stone, as well as and other mineral paving surfaces. This includes natural sandstones, limestones, granites and slates etc., as well as for composite pavers such as clay brick pavers, reconstituted stone concrete paving & standard concrete block paving etc.
The science behind the NCC Natural Stone Sealer is that it is solvent-dispersed because the use of such a solvent ensures the best possible penetration and impregnation and over a wide temperature range, which water dispersed paving sealers traditionally just cannot do!
NCC Natural Stone Sealer is a very effective surface impregnating sealer that dries with a natural 'matt' finish with minimal change to the colour and texture, where it then helps to protect the surface again against staining because it strongly repels water, oil and grease.
Technically this means that NCC Natural Stone Sealer is classified as being both an hydrophobic and oleophobic material. However, and very importantly, NCC Natural Stone Sealer also allows the treated surfaces to breathe/transpire in accordance with normal building materials physics - this means that unsightly staining and discoloration due to salts entrapment and crystallisation behind the surface film forming products like _K-Seal Total Sealer, does not occur.

Application - Directions for use:
Shake the container bottle prior to use and ensure that the surfaces to be treated are completely clean and dry.
Pour the material into a suitable roller tray and apply uniformly using a brush, roller or other suitable proprietary equipment. More absorbent surfaces may require further coats and on such porous and permeable surfaces the product must be generously applied to fill and seal the surface. Allow at least two hours between coats. The aim is to completely fill the substrate pores without over applying it and any excess is removed, with surface ponding strictly avoided. Following the sealer's application do not allow the sealed surfaces to get wet and keep the area dry and protected from rain and/or any other water run-off for a minimum of 3 days. Whilst it can be walked on after 24 hours, allow the full 3 days before full use, as allowing this extra time ensures it has fully hardened and will provide optimum durability and service life etc.
Important note: On any sensitive stone and other surfaces, as always and as with all paving treatments and sealers, we strongly recommend carrying out an inconspicuous test area and allow this to dry thoroughly first and before the overall application, as this is always the best way to ensure that all parties are happy.
