GftK’s vdw 850+ is a unique 2-part, epoxy paving joint mortar providing high performance and extremely durable paving joints for many types of paving, including all types of natural stone and external porcelain tiled paving. Ideal for use in many different paved areas for pedestrian and/or vehicular traffic areas, including highways applications. The ideal paving jointing solution for new and repointing projects. The advanced vdw 850+ is applied ergonomically by standing-up and using wet-slurry techniques, which allows super-fast installation and brings paving jointing / grouting to a healthier level- and is far more comfortable than being on your hands and knees all day!
GftK’s vdw 850+ Paving Joint Mortar is fully resistant to cleaning by high pressure water jet washing, as well as to cleaning by mechanical street cleaning machines, plus it is fully resistant to de-icing salts, freeze-thaw, weed growth and damage from boring insects such as ants.

Additionally, many specialist stone paving contractors now also use the advanced GftK vdw 950 StoneProtect Plus 3-in-1 impregnation immediately after stone paving slabs have been laid and the cementitious bedding has hardened, before grouting the joints. This is because the GftK vdw 950’s impregnation of the stone surfaces, significantly reduces the surface permeability, which then also makes the subsequent paving jointing/ grouting process much faster, plus this removes the risk of staining sensitive stone surfaces by the grout or any residual binder. These paddles are sized to fit any good quality, standard form of heavy duty electric drill with a bit to accommodate the 10mm shaft. The drills should only be used on low speeds to mix the mortars for 3 minutes and as specifically stated on their respective Technical Data Sheets (TDS / PDS).
