NCC Grime Remover-Heavy Duty is an intensive paving surface cleaner, dirt and grime remover, which we have had designed specifically for exterior use on all types of natural stone, reconstituted stone and concrete paving, including limestone, sandstone, granite and slate, plus brickwork & concrete blocks as well as porcelain & external quarry tiles. NCC Grime Remover is also a very effective cleaner for many other garden hard landscaping surfaces including many different types of garden and exterior structures, garden furniture and play equipment etc.
Due to its unique and specialist formulation, the heavy duty NCC Grime Remover is extremely effective at removing oils and grease, as well as many different forms of ingrained dirt, grime and common domestic household stains on patios, terraces and driveways, as well as for commercial and retail areas around food courts etc. NCC Grime Remover – Heavy Duty is also ideal for the initial cleaning of newly installed paving surfaces to remove construction marks before pointing / grouting and also as part of the process for refurbishing existing paved surfaces that have lost their ‘sparkle’ and need bringing back to their natural beauty before repointing and sealing/protecting the surfaces to protect against future staining.
Directions for use:
- For general cleaning purposes and on absorbent paving / surfaces: Dilute 1:10 parts with warm water. Apply with a cloth or mop keeping wet allow to react for a few minutes and wipe off thoroughly with a clean damp cloth.
- For severe staining and more severe cases: Dilute 1: 3 parts with warm water. Apply liberally, spreading over the surface of the paving by roller , brush or spray. Where necessary agitate by working into the stains with a stiff brush. Leave to react for a further 5-10 minutes, ensuring that the surface is kept wet by applying more of the NCC Grime Remover solution as required. Then agitate the surface with a stiff brush again, then sponge-off / mop-up and finally rinse thoroughly with clean water.
- In extremely severe cases the NCC Grime Remover – Heavy Duty paving cleaner can be used undiluted and the surface can also be agitated with mechanical scrubbers if required, as is sometimes necessary as part of the cleaning regime and good hygiene around food retail and commercial facilities.
- Following the cleaning process, any cleaning solution remaining on the paved surfaces should be completely removed by sponging with clean water. Always make sure to give the paved surface a third final rinse to remove any residues etc.
Important note: – We always advise that paving cleaners are tested on an inconspicuous area before undertaking the overall cleaning application. Additionally with any cleaning products in your garden, it is important to also mask and protect any adjacent painted surfaces, untreated wood and any other sensitive areas and planting. Rinse off any spillages or over-spray immediately.
